Kickstarter Spotlight 3/24

March 24, 2017

We all know and love Kickstarter for the positive effect it has had on the Indy board game community and now more then ever there are a ton of games on the scene to examine and fund.

Helping gamer enthusiasts sift through the Internet and find the game that will occupy that precious shelf space in their game-room is part of what we do.

So today we are going to highlight 3 Kickstarter campaigns that have us here at Pletatest very excited!

1. Rising Sun

Rising Sun Takes place in feudal japan with all its rich history and traditions, and Monsters - REALLY AWESOME MONSTERS! The Miniatures Feature in this game are truly gorgeous.

As the kickstarter sails toward its 3 million dollar stretch goal the game just keeps getting better!.

With just over a little over a week left we can't wait to see what Cool Mini or Not will come out with next!

2. Venture Party

Whats the key to adventure?

A strong party of course...Well unless you split the party.

In venture party you seek to build out the strongest band of adventurers.

Trying to figure out what your opponents have and to earn the most loot possible.

Check out their super real to life and highly accurate kickstarter video here.

3. XYbrid

We all have a mad scientist

side don't we?

XYbrid let's you indulge that fantasy while competing against your fellow mad scientist to build the biggest and baddest monster, creature, robot or some kind of hybrid version of all the movie monster tropes as the image to the right indicates the game boasts half a billion potential combinations!

So purchase that volcano stronghold and don't forget to feed the sharks!

XYbrid will be a great addition to your board game library and give your mad scientist side far to many ideas.
